Dear Facebook Friends:
It is with a heavy heart (and aching joints) that I am announcing my official retirement from bowl turning. I actually finished my final piece this afternoon. The past 10-or-so years have been a great joy to me and have allowed me countless hours in which to develop and exhibit a level of creativity that I hadn’t realized previously (not to mention that it also kept me in my shop enough that Karen & I didn’t choke the crap out of each other)!
Thank you to those of you who were generous enough to provide me with the occasional log or two, and to those of you who were supportive enough to invest in the purchase of my finished work. Especially those who were my very special repeat customers! Speaking of…I still have a remaining inventory of approximately 40-ish unique, “one-of-a-kind pieces” that are currently available.
