SoFit Events

I'm excited to announce that as of November 1st I will be the official Owner and Operator of Bold City CrossFit. I have been presented with an opportunity by my friends Nathaniel and Mina Long to take over the business and community of people they have loved and nurtured for the past 6 years. I don't take this responsibility lightly and want everybody at Bold City to know that is what I plan on maintaining and expanding, our community.

I have been part of the CrossFit community since 2008. A few years as a person following CrossFit.com in a globo gym, another few years as a member of CrossFit Southside, and the past 5 years as a coach at that same affiliate. I've been fortunate to be a part of a tremendous affiliate and have the opportunity to learn under Justin Bergh, Chris Christos, and TJ Cooper. A piece of me will always be at Southside and I'll always appreciate the skills, knowledge and passion for improvement that have been instilled in me from my experiences there.

I have made great friendships at CrossFit Southside and hope to maintain those relationships even in my absence. With that I'm also anxious and excited to create new relationships with the members at Bold City. I will be splitting time as a coach between both locations until January 1st when I will be fully transitioned as the owner of Bold City. Thank you to everyone for all the opportunities, friendships and loyalty over the years.

We will be releasing our first athlete shirt at the SoFit Expo inside Rep Your Box! This shirt symbolizes Olivier Martin who's an amazing CF Athlete, Husband, Father and Navy Rescue Swimmer.

The shirt features the Core Values of the Navy "Honor, Courage and Commitment" with a rescue swimmer all creating the image of an American Flag on the front. "Don't Tread On Me" and the Aviation Rescue Swimmer Insignia on the sleeves, and words to live by "Do today what others won't, do tomorrow what others can't" on the back.

These will be available in both Men's shirts and Women's tank tops!
