Are you building an algorithm for your life that only affirms what you want to hear? Grayson brought us a powerful message from Romans 1-2 where we were challenged to ask ourselves a critical question: Am I seeking affirmation or am I seeking truth?

We live in a world of echo chambers that constantly validate our beliefs. But Paul reminds us that we can't judge others while doing the same things ourselves. The real idol we worship isn't always a golden statue, it's often ourselves. Our time, our beliefs, our service all point to what truly has our hearts.

This week, examine your thoughts. Are they glorifying God or self-serving? At work? With family? In your daily decisions? Pray Romans 12:1-2 over your life: "Be transformed by the renewing of your mind." Let God reveal any algorithms you've built that have replaced His truth with your own desires.

Start seeking truth.

Ever had a falling out with another believer? You're not alone. Even Paul and Barnabas had a sharp disagreement that led to their separation (Acts 15:36-41). But here's the beautiful truth: their story didn't end there.

Unity isn't optional decor for the gospel, it's evidence of the gospel in our lives. When we fight for reconciliation instead of fighting each other, we bear witness to Christ's transforming power. Paul and John Mark's relationship was eventually restored, proving that people can and do change.

This week, maybe it's time to make that phone call, send that text, or write that letter. As far as it depends on you, live at peace with others (Romans 12:18). Your faith is built on Christ, not on people, but Christ calls us to the ministry of reconciliation.
