Country Needleworks

Our Monday Marketplace segment today features a great trunk show from Berroco. We have models made from Remix, a worsted weight yarn with 216 yards and the Remix Light, a light DK with 432 yards per skein. These heathery yarns are made from recycled fibers of nylon, cotton, acrylic, silk and linen, making for a beautiful stitch definition. We start with the Remix Light section showing the Kyrie, a crocheted cardigan with curved lower edges and an all over lace pattern. We’re excited about the children’s models included in this show. The first one is called Amari, a child’s version of a popular adult tee including eyelet details in the yoke. The next pullover tee is called Reese. This tee is worked from the bottom up with added eyelet trim to the edges. A favorite is the crocheted Eden throw, made using three different colors. It has a one row chevron repeat. The rest of the models are made from the Remix Worsted. Pam has on the Remi sweater made in the same color way as the crocheted blanket. The contrast colors add an extra pop of color on the edges. Sue is wearing the Auden; a longer lace cardigan that is perfect for any event. The other child sweater, Finley, has a pocket on the front as well as some fun striping. The final model is another throw, Emery, but this one is knitted to resemble a plaid using slipped stitches.
