To keep our volunteers who continue to staff the ambulances safe, along with you and your family members both of our ambulances are stocked with proper PPE for our crew members and patients if needed and we have outfitted one ambulance specifically for transporting possible COVID patients. This ambulance has been completely lined in plastic, protecting our gear and surfaces in the back. As well as the driver in the front. In addition, to limit exposure from others, family members may be asked to NOT ride to the ER with the ambulance, unless it is essential to patient care. It will be easier for us to decontaminate the ambulance, should it need to be used. Be assured, we will be doing everything we can to keep you and your loved ones safe!
