Overholt Construction

If you are new to our page, and have found us by doing a search for us because you received an envelope similar to this via Priority Mail, please know that it was not us who mailed these out. We've now received 5 "returned" envelopes that (sc amm ers) have sent out using our return address on the envelope. Our information is not inside and so far I have found at least limited information online on the the companies listed on the checks. I'm guessing the (sc amm ers) also randomly pulled up some company names to use on fake checks. I have blurred out some of the information including the routing and account numbers, just in case they are legit but being scammed as well. One of these letters instructs you to deposit the check, and then buy gift cards and give the numbers to the (sc am me rs). The other simply tells you to call them with all of the check info, deposit it, and then call for further instructions. I called the number and without me saying much, they knew I had received a check. I gave them a bit of a hassle about using our information but they don't care. They just want your money. If you have vulnerable people in your life who may not be able to spot a scam, this is a good opportunity to be pro-active and educate them on what to do if they receive something from someone they don't know. Same goes for phone calls and pop-up messages for computer problems. Many (sc amm ers) use scare tactics and while this one doesn't, it is still likely to cheat at least a few people out of their own much-needed money. 😧

Another project in Jesup we completed earlier this year was a new retail building for Harris Ace Hardware. There was a bit of maneuvering to get this all completed. The new building was built where the old parking lot had been, just feet from the old building. After the new building was completed and all things moved over, the old building was demo'ed for the new parking lot. We appreciate Harris ACE Hardware and Building Supply for choosing us for this construction project!
