It's been awhile! I hope you all have had a lovely Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas & New Year! If you couldn't already tell, I've stopped taking custom orders and have closed down Dunk-n-Fluff. Thank you so much for your patronage over the last 10 years! I started DnF when my 10yo was just a baby. Time really does fly! I'm still doing business, just focusing all my energy into my pattern design business Love Notions Sewing Patterns. I've already published more than 15 patterns since I started last spring. If you're interested in sewing, stop by! Several of my original designs I sewed for years have been published as pdf sewing patterns. :) Thanks again for all your support!

Here's the pattern that started it all-- the Mallory Dress!

My last customs for awhile-- For Melissa B. Superhero sets x 3 plus a pirate set (a coordinating hoodie is in the process right now).

I have started moving listings over to Etsy. So far I just have Surprise Me's up. I'm considering moving listings for playdresses and Mallory dresses but what would you guys think about listings that are for labor only? The customer would purchase their fabric themselves (or send it to me if they already have it).

It's about time for an update. :) This week I'm actually sewing and not pattern drafting! I'll be working on and hopefully finishing/shipping-- Wanda, Jane & Melissa's customs. Once those are done I will have an empty customs list for the FIRST time in 10 years. Not sure how I feel about that! lol If I have time this week I may put up some custom slots in the Love Notions Etsy shop.

If you haven't noticed, I've de-activated my store front. I'm still deciding exactly what direction to take DnF but for now I'll just be offering Surprise Me's through Etsy (not set up yet). And maybe the occasional custom order. Just a head's up! I'll post when I have the etsy shop up and running.

I sewed up this adorable Mallory dress today while taking photos for the pattern (coming soon!). I'm trying to decide if I should sell it or give it away...
The new Mallory dress style is slightly changed from the original to make it more 'tween friendly with a drop waist, a full flared skirt and in-seam pockets. It will also be available in knee length (as soon here) and mid-calf.
