Every business has a beginning!

Ours began in 1977, when this optical lab opened in Downtown Jonesboro as a wholesale optical laboratory serving eye doctors throughout Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, and Mississippi. Skilled technicians were handcrafting prescription lenses right here in the same building where we continue serving customers today. In fact, this laboratory became the first optical business in Arkansas to manufacture plastic prescription lenses for eye doctors, helping lead the way as the optical industry evolved!

For nearly five decades… this lab has never moved! The same downtown location that opened in 1977 is still where you will find our optical business today, operating our family owned on-site lab & retail store since 1990.

There is something special about a business that becomes part of a community’s history, and we are honored to be the longest operating retail business in downtown Jonesboro!

This building does not just hold equipment. It holds decades of stories, friendships, and families we have had the privilege of serving. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives for almost 50 years as a laboratory and 36 as a retail business.
