I am a Professional Seamstress, Dressmaker, Costume Designer.
I have been making clothing in the USA for 25 years. I have had a wonderful upturn in potential customers who are seeking out custom made wedding dresses and clothing.
I work diligently to keep my prices fair and work with budget limitations and offer a payment plan.
BUT I am seeing an influx of potential clients who ghost me when it's time to pay their down payment.
My main concern is they are expressing they "have time".
If I am making you a custom made cloak, corset, dress, or sewing for a groom I don't have time.
With the current state of the USA I have to deal with bankruptcy, shipping, tariffs, taxes and more.
If I am going to continue to offer budget wedding options I need TIME to gather the materials and MAKE the items. Just like a florist, a baker, even a photographer gets their downpayment.
I want to help MORE Brides have their dreams come true on their big day AND work to stay within their budget.
