At Automated Technology Company (ATC), we recently completed a comprehensive solution design for a former Macy's department store in Joplin City Government, Missouri, now repurposed as an event center.

Here's what we achieved:

Full Energy Audit
We started by analyzing the facility's energy usage, identifying opportunities for efficiency and sustainability.

Innovative Upgrades

Through a collaborative approach, we integrated cutting-edge technology, including:
Ecochillers Inc Heat Pump System for optimized HVAC performance.

Midea Building Tech. VRF for additional office area allowing for more granular room control.

EisBaer SCADA for centralized monitoring and control.

Siemens KNX Field Devices for precise temperature and lighting control.

Impactful Results

With these enhancements, the event center is projected to reduce energy consumption by an impressive 92.3%, saving approximately 4,527,044 kWh annually.
This translates to substantial cost savings and a significant reduction in the facility's carbon footprint.

This past Wednesday, we had the honor of hosting incredible guests from Southeast Asia as Midea VRF continues its exciting journey into North America—starting right here in Joplin Missouri!

Our day began at Joplin City Government, where we met with the city planner. This enlightening conversation gave our guests valuable insight into the bright future of our city.

Next, we visited EMM Advertising and Payton Layne , who are leading some amazing projects that highlight our cutting-edge products and innovative solutions.

Then, we stopped by Speed Dealer Customs at 610 Main in Joplin , and our visitors were blown away by the incredible progress on this historic building—a perfect showcase of the transformative power of our technology and teamwork.

Lunch at the iconic Red Onion Cafe was a special moment too. On their third trip to Joplin this year, our guests experienced something they’d never encountered before: a chance meeting with Joplin Police Department as Chief Pierson and Assistant Chief Lewis. These community leaders not only greeted our visitors but took the time to engage in meaningful conversation. Our guests were absolutely amazed by the warmth and approach ability of our local leaders.

After spending the day exploring Joplin Area Chamber of Commerce and discussing the future of Automated Technology Company and Midea for the North American market, it became abundantly clear to our visitors: Joplin is the right place, and Automated Technology Company is the perfect partner for success, growth, and opportunity.
