The Pennington wasn't just built to stand-it was built to sustain. From its 1919 roots as the city’s pharmaceutical heartbeat to its industrial-strength foundation, this building has always been about wellness and endurance. Join the loft tour, to see the authentic red brick walls and floor to ceiling original windows, restored from the past for the present and into the future.

We are preserving the ‘C’ medallions and Chicago style windows. Come stand where department store glam and Joplin’s socialites stood in 1917. Take a selfie-YOU are the next chapter of the story. Join us for the 2026 Lofts Tour. Saturday May 2, 2pm-6pm.And treat yourself to the Tip Top Toast grand finale on our Historic Columbian Rooftop. Downtown Joplin Alliance will being hosting with Live Music, Signature Cocktail and light snacks. Loft tour Tickets are $25 and VIP Tip Top Toast tics $75. 1. It was the electric elevator installed in Joplin, Missouri.
