Azure Adventist Church Drop

Join a Drop:
Set up an account with Azure and select the drop you want to join. My drop is called “Adventist Church Drop”
Azure sends me an email asking for permission to add you to the account—this takes on average 3 days before you can actually order.

Place an Order:
Choose the correct DROP—some of us are members of multiple drops in Juneau so double check to make sure you have selected the correct drop.
Order your items and check-out by choosing the CORRECT delivery date that you find on the page and NOT what Azure posts on their site. I only organize 6 drops per year and Azure lists every week. It is so very important to check the page for the correct dates. Also note Azure site will say pick up is the day after the order cut off but that is the day Azure delivers to AML in Seattle—it takes a week on the barge to arrive to us.

What to Order:
Order FROZEN only in May and November. Frozen items average .50 to .75 cents per lb again depending on total weight.
Order refrigerated items on any order at your own risk as the items will be shipped with dry goods--I have had great success with this in regards to many refrigerated items and a few have arrived totally destroyed. Please note on your order to ship refrigerated goods as dry goods.

Shipping Charges:
Azure delivers free to AML in Seattle. Each member is responsible for paying AML shipping charges to the drop coordinator (me) for their order.
AML Shipping charges average .33 per lb. (this can vary depending if we don't meet the minimum weight of 250 Lbs which is RARE) AML charges us for the weight of the pallets as well and fuel charges that vary and this charge is divided equally among all orders averaging $1 to $3 per order.

Pick Up:
Pick-up will be arranged on a Monday for Frozen orders and on a Wednesday for all other orders-- 8 to10 days after order cut off date. AML never tells me when the order will be delivered, they have a “window” of 1 to 5. For this reason I make pick-up time from 4:30 until 6:30. There are times they do not deliver until 5. I would love to have a morning delivery but I can not take off work for this. Whenever pick-up does not work for you, please contact me so we can make alternate arrangements.
Place your order by a Sunday (Schedule again is on the page). Pick up will be 8 to 11 days later.
Pick-up is at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church on 4343 Mendenhall Loop Rd.

Pay for your Shipping:
You will receive a text or email from me that tells you how much you owe for your AML shipping charges. The payment goes to me (I pay AML before delivery). You may pay with a check, cash, Alaska USA bank transfer, or Pay Pal. If you use pay pal, you MUST select “pay a friend”—I have been getting stuck with some pretty hefty fees from pay pal if this is not selected.

Due to Covid:
You may drive under the awning and load your car with your order. Please respect each other and comfort levels with this by waiting until the awning is clear for you to drive up. I am more than willing to load your car for you—just let me know.

May seem confusing to beginners, but once the process is understood, ordering is easy and I try to make pick-up as easy as possible while dealing with AML. I do my best to have items delivered on Wednesdays for pick up time of 4:30 to 6:30. Arrangements can be made if this pick-up time will not work but please take into consideration the size and weight of your order as it is hard for me to move around large orders over the weekend. On special occasions, for special reasons I will deliver your order when necessary. My main goal is to make a healthier lifestyle possible and I believe the products at Azure Standard contribute to this.
