It all started about a year ago when I got a message from a former mom in my son’s 1st grade class which was 20 years ago. Yes, she remembered me after 20 years. The boys are now 27 years old. She said she follows me on FB and is getting ready to make a move and wants me to help. WOW I can’t tell you amazing this made me feel.

The time had come to move on. She and her husband had raised 4 kids in their home and now it’s time for them to do what they want with their time. Playing golf is what they want especially since her husband is a former golf pro: They were ready!

We started house hunting and once we figured exactly where they wanted to be we hunted down the perfect home. That was the easy part!!

Negotiating a contract to purchase while listing their home for sale and praying I could secure a buyer in a very short amount of time that would allow them to purchase the house they fell in love with. The seller did not really want a contract with a contingency that they had to sell their home. They accepted it but only have us 15?days to get a contract. This was no easy job with several other houses for sale in their neighborhood and lots of competition.

Need less to say, I rolled up my sleeves and got to work because there was no way I was going to disappoint them. We had some bumps in the road when another buyer stepped up to the plate and they kicked us to the curb to take an offer without a contingency. We thought we lost it but I never gave up. I stayed positive and kept working. I found the right buyer for their house and due to my strong communication with all parties involved we managed to step back in to the deal. The sellers cancelled their contract with the new buyers and welcomed us back now with their home under contract.

There were some sleepless night, lots of worries and lots of finger crossing but we made it happen. We ended up with 3 closings in one day! The buyer of their house closed in the morning and got her funds to make the purchase which led to the sale of their home second, and then finally we closed on their purchase of their dream home on the water all while the moving truck had their belongings on it since the day before waiting to unload.

This was a huge victory for us and many hurdles to jump over but we did it. Being a problem solver, thinking out of the box, strategizing with people who all want the same outcome and surrounding myself with a team that is dedicated to get the job done. I love the challenge and the pure joy I bring to people’s lives. Helping them build those dreams and bringing them to life. It’s a passion that keeps me going. Each story is unique and each story is special and I feel blessed beyond words to be able to be part of all this each and every day. thank you for trusting me and putting your faith in me and helping me build relationships one house at a time.
