We had a great time at our trail hike with Florida Parks staff along Kitchen Creek at our Bonfire event at Jonathan Dickenson State Park and then Allen Tenfry regaled us of stories about Florida’s environmental history around the bonfire, two s’mores and folk music under a beautiful sky and cool temps! How lucky we are to have these great opportunities!

This year our 2025 Treasure of the Chapter Award is given to our amazing FAEP 2026 Annual Conference Co-chairs Niki Desjardin and Debbie Andrews Medellin for their immense effort leading the Planning Committee as we plan out conference logistics which is not simple feat! Thank you 🙏!!

Each year your TCC Board of Directors look forward to hosting our Environmental Excellence Awards Banquet, looking back on the years activities, major achievements and honoring the great work within our local environmental community!

Yet again, it was a great night of networking and fellowship, honor and celebration as well as raising $1150 for the next generation of professionals!! Thank you for being a part of it with us!

We are pleased to award the 2025 Eco-Visionary Award for the Bobcat photo by Tina Zajac!

The award is intended to highlight the spirit of the Treasure Coast region, by way of capturing, through photography, the essence of our flora, fauna, habitats, landscapes, places, or people.

Tina submitted two photographs as part of the Eco-Visionary award with her nomination submitted by Niki Desjardin. These photographs were of a juvenile green turtle and an outstanding bobcat which ended up winning the award.
