☀️ Join us in offering a warm welcome to Karen!! ☀️ Karen will be guiding our 5:30pm Mindful Flow practice on Sunday evenings & it’s truly such an honor to have her join our family of space holders. She brings groundedness, warmth, and a beautiful sense of embodied authenticity in the way she carries herself. Get a chance to know her a bit more below in her own words ♥️
started practicing yoga 20+ years ago, and like many of us, it began as a primarily physical practice. But when I suffered a devastating loss, yoga became my rock. I found solace in the asanas that I couldn’t find elsewhere. Over the decades my practice has ebbed and flowed, but has remained my steady place to find connection with myself and with a sense of the divine.
As I approached retirement I felt drawn to shift gears into a more authentic way of living and connecting. Yoga became my path. Teaching yoga feels like an expression of yoga itself; the more I share of myself in support of others, the more my practice deepens, and the more I have to offer. It’s such an honor to carry forward the tradition that has carried me.

Join Kula in welcoming back Dr. Nick Atlas (Director of Evolutionary Education, Psychedelic Guide, Spiritual Teacher, Author, and Chair of Transpersonal Psychology at Atlantic University with 25+ years experience in the healing arts) for an immersive & expansive journey into the heart of contemporary shamanism.
Untethered to any one tradition yet honoring the wisdom of many, together we will explore the essence of self-awareness, healing, and psychospiritual transformation through time-honored techniques for shifting consciousness, including breathwork, guided meditation/relaxation (yoga nidra), dreamwork, psychedelics, ecstatic dance and improvisational music-making.
With a focus on presence, deep empathy, liminality and flow states, this workshop will help us situate our personal and professional practice in everyday life, hone new and familiar skills, and awaken our connection to the timeless, nondual ground of being, while rooting into the new year with a renewed sense of meaning and purpose.
No experience is necessary to participate and all are welcome.
While psychedelics will be a topic of discussion, no substances will be consumed during the workshop.
The session will include a short break.
Bring a journal and a snack (something to share if you’d like), and please eat lightly prior to arriving (as we will start the session with breathwork practice, which is best done on an empty stomach).
Feel free to email questions to [email protected].
