๐Ÿ“ข Attention boaters โ€” Dredging operations in the Jupiter Inlet are set to begin this Saturday, January 17 as part of the 2026 Inlet Sand Trap Dredging Project, contracted through the Jupiter Inlet District and Atlantic & Gulf Dredging.

This yearโ€™s project starts earlier than usual due to an unusually high volume of sand โ€” nearly double the historical average, with shoaling already being reported by local mariners. Around-the-clock dredging will take place over the next month to help restore safe navigation through this vital waterway.

๐ŸŒŠ Out-of-town boaters, take note: local knowledge is key when navigating the Jupiter Inlet. Currents shift quickly, and unexpected shoaling can create hazardous conditions. Please proceed with caution, monitor official updates, and respect dredging zones for your safety and the protection of our sensitive marine environment.
