Founded in 1897, the Kalamazoo Humane Society has spent 129 years standing up for animals and supporting the people who love them. Every day, that mission continues—providing critical care, food, and resources to animals who have nowhere else to turn.
But the need is growing. More families are reaching out. More animals require medical care, safe shelter, and support. And we are committed to being there—just as we have been for over a century.
To meet this need, we are working to expand our veterinary team and services so we can help even more animals in our community. But we can’t do it alone.

✔ Healthy dogs only
✔ No other vaccines or services offered
Reminder: The last day to renew Kalamazoo County dog licenses is 2/28. This is a great time to ensure your dog’s rabies vaccine is current.
Please note: We do not sell dog licenses, but they can be completed online.
