Behold Fellowship

I'm pretty sure that Sara took more Christmas pics so I'll add those soon as well. Again, Sara's sister joined us for our Christmas celebration. You may notice on the screen that the lyrics are in both English and Spanish. We have been blessed of God to have a good amount of diversity in our small little church. Laura has at times even learned to sing some of the lyrics in Spanish as well as English.
On nights where we have more Spanish speakers, we produce notes in Spanish as well as split the screen with English and Spanish, verses and such. Having a diverse body is what Sara and I had prayed for from the beginning. So excited to see it happening before our eyes.

About a month or so back, EJ and Grace's teacher, Ms Hodge came and joined Sara's sister Laura, helping us to engage our hearts in worship to God It was a nice night

While this is the time of year that we all make our resolutions, (mine is doing better at timely posts), last Sunday, we spent some time learning about prayer and pending some time praying in the New Year.

In keeping with my New Years Resolution, I am posting a bunch of pictures from our Commissioning in Lansing, our Kick-Off gathering and a few more pics from other nights, I may even have one from Christmas to add in there.

I hope you enjoy getting some insights into our journey of planting Behold Fellowship in Kalamazoo.

We think God is doing some interesting and unexpected things.

Its time to celebrate! The official launch of Behold Fellowship is just over a week away

Welcome to Behold Fellowship; where we Behold Jesus together as we Live His Word, Love His People and Embrace His Spirit.

We are a new church plant located in Kalamazoo, Michigan.

It is no secret that traditional Christian beliefs have been in sharp decline in our community. Many are turning away as they feel the church is no longer relevant for them. We hold strongly that many simply have yet to witness the compelling nature of Jesus’ love, mercy, compassion and grace through the reflection of His followers.

Behold Fellowship desires to be a community of people gathering together, learning how to more fully experience and reflect the presence and truth of Jesus. We believe that this authentic focus will appeal to many.

Jesus said, “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” John 13:35 ESV.

We are building a culture that is Simple, Authentic, Inviting, Relational, Humble and Missional.
