Evergreen Community Partners

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and its partner Razz Construction are progressing on sidewalk improvements along US Highway 2 (US 2) in Evergreen. Crews have been working on the east side of US 2 since April and are expected to complete sidewalk pours on the east side by the end of the month.

Currently, a lane closure is in place on the northbound lane of US 2 from East Cottonwood Drive to Brando Lane. Motorists can expect reduced speeds when traveling through the project area. Traffic control will change when crews move to the west side of the roadway after June 7.

Thank you for the sidewalks, Evergreen On behalf of the Evergreen Board of Trustees, staff, students, families, and community, I would like to thank everyone for their work to help our geographically small, rural, unincorporated community see the dream and vision of sidewalks for safe routes to school become a reality.
