A cold and cloudy December has descended upon the Flathead Valley. The snow-capped peaks may seem daunting to some, but for the well-initiated, snow is a welcoming sign to different adventures. Layer up, we'll see you at the top.

High up in the mountains just south of Glacier National Park is Hungry Horse Reservoir, a locals-only kind of playground that is brimming with adventure.
