Have you ever struggled with not getting sales on your NON-HEOR product variations?

Even when you target all variations in your campaign, Amazon's AI tends to display those ASINs with better CTR and CVR. That's just how advertising AI works.

Over the past few months, we've been working hard to promote our other variations, and here's what helped us the most:

1. Usually, In the first month of the project, I tell my team members to allocate different keywords to different variations. This way, we could spend on all of them. After the first month, we analyzed the data to see which variations had good CTR and CVR and then focused our spending on those. This method is great for determining which variations work best in the market.

2. Include variation colors/products in the main image: This is a crucial step that we've implemented for every project with product variations, and trust me, it works wonders! You can either add product variations to the main image of your top-selling variation (like the cap image below) or simply add circles of color/size/pack on the main image. This ensures that potential customers who might be interested in a different color/pack/size don't miss your product.

Keep in mind that if someone clicks on your top-selling variation and then buys a different one, PPC will still show the sale under the top-selling variation where you got the CLICK.

That's why you see a significant difference between total sales and PPC sales, like below!

1M$ case study within the supplement niche at a 40% Net Margin in 2022!

No external traffic, no social media ads! Just Amazon Advertising!

This account was making around 50k$/month in January this year.

Then we scale it to 2x of the sales with maintaining profitable advertising.

We already made 945k$ and will close more than 1M$ this year with only 2 main ASINs.

Although there is so much effort in the backend to put in and make this 7-figure. But two things actually helped us to scale in the biggest competitive niche.

1. Brand Building
50% of the sales come from our brand and product keywords. The seller made specific names for the product so that people search for them with product names. I have attached one of our brand name keyword campaigns with under 5% ACOS. Due to the Brand building, our competitors are selling between 13-20$, and we’re at 25$ with a 55% gross margin taking control in the niche with only 2 ASINS.

2. Save & Subscribe (SNS)
SNS was the biggest changer and helped us to get multiple sales with 10% off. In this niche, our main keywords have bids of 6-9$. But paying this high bid is only helpful if the customers do the SNS rather than direct purchase. We have more than 700+ monthly subscription orders at the moment.

Next year’s goal is to scale 3M$ in revenue in 2023 by adding 3 more ASINS and introducing them to the European markets.
