Meet Fury, a 3-year-old working line German Shepherd looking for his forever home! This loyal and intelligent boy is advanced obedience trained. Fury thrives in active environments and loves hikes, trails, swimming, and outdoor adventures. Excellent around other dogs and chickens.

Temperament: Neutral around other dogs and people when out and about. At home, Fury is timid with unfamiliar visitors but warms up with a little time and patience. He’s very affectionate with his family and not aggressive.
Ideal Home: Best suited for homes with older children (no young kids, please). Fury would love an active owner who enjoys outdoor activities.
Training: Advanced obedience with e-collar and some intro bite work experience.

We are restructuring our program here at Great Northern K9, and focusing on a more flexible training curriculum and teaching the human side of the leash. All my training packages are now online programs combined with private in-person sessions where I come and help you implement what you learned online. The goal is to teach you how to communicate with your dog successfully. This is best for people who want to start as a puppy, or just want their dog to listen to them better, not severe behavior modification issues.
Anyone who has talked to me personally knows I am a part time dog trainer and a full time mom. Well the full time mom side has been getting very busy with the stage of life my kids are in. Because of that I will no longer be offering board and train programs, but rather focusing on private instruction.

My puppy turned 2 yesterday! Happy birthday Heisenberg z Faoladh “Thor”!
Thor has been so fun to train and work with. Eager to learn and fun to be around. Can’t wait to see him compete in PSA!
