I want to talk about realistic expectations with Lip Blush.
I’ve seen so many different lip types, conditions, and irregularities, and each case is unique. Some clients may have lips that are in perfect lip-blushing condition, while others may be more challenging to work on.
Among the most challenging are lips with scar tissue and sun damage. Sun damage is actually one of the hardest to work with, so let this be an important reminder to WEAR SPF lip protection!
When you decide to get Lip Blush, it’s important to know that multiple sessions may be needed to achieve the results you’re looking for, especially if you have scar tissue, uneven tones, hard lip texture, or sun damage.

This is one reason I’m cautious about using tallow as your only daily facial moisturizer. Tallow can feel softening and occlusive, but it doesn’t provide the full barrier-support system skin usually benefits from — like humectants, ceramides, cholesterol-supportive lipids, and a balanced fatty acid profile. And because it contains a good amount of oleic acid, it may not be ideal for sensitive, acne-prone, or barrier-impaired skin.
