MT Mitchell Fire Department

Congratulations to the graduates of Cohort 6 of the Rowan-Cabarrus High School Fire Academy. These students successfully completed the program and earned their North Carolina Firefighter certification through the Office of the State Fire Marshal while completing their high school education. By graduation, all students had established affiliations with fire service agencies and plan to continue careers in public safety.

The High School Fire Academy provides students with a direct pathway into the fire service through classroom instruction, hands-on training and industry-recognized credentials.
