In May, Tonya Huff and Horace Welsh worked with our Foundation to donate 1,730 books to Washington County, Maryland, pre-K and Title I kindergarten students!

The bookfair style events were held at all 25 primary schools in Washington County, with each child able to select their own book. "It was a pleasure to watch the excitement on the kids' faces as they walked through to choose their books, and to hear a chorus of 'thank you's'" Tonya said.

Last week, around 40 of our amazing volunteers came together to support the students of KCIA at their annual Field Day. It was a day filled with sunshine, nonstop smiles, and pure joy!

Our volunteers had an absolute blast setting up and running several stations for the kids. From intense dodgeball matches and limbo contests to outdoor water games, a bouncy house, and of course, the crowd-favorite dunk tank.

A huge, heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers who brought so much heart to this day, and to KCIA for inviting us and being an incredible community partner.
