A Day in the Life of

I am the youngest of 3 girls and I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas.

Growing up, I was in church all my life, in fact, my father was a Pastor. Church was a huge part of my upbringing.Yep, Baptist was my religion and I often attended:

✅Wednesday Night Bible Study (Prayer, Praise & Study is what we called it..🙂)

✅Sunday was a day you knew was dedicated all day to church with Sunday School starting at 9:45am (you better be there on time🤣); 11:00am, Church Service; and on most Sunday’s, we attended TWO services.

That was my routine, part of my upbringing, my life. Now, please do not get it twisted, at times, I was your typical child/teenager/young adult—so much that I am sure my parents kept me on the prayer list. 🤣

Why do I tell you this?

Well, although I grew up in church and was given a foundation on which to live life on, I haven’t TRULY gotten to know God and experience him for myself until recently. I have always known him, prayed to him, worshiped him—but I’m talking a TRUE experience in that I realize I am unable to move forward without him.

This year, I started to read the Bible, understand it, apply it to my FEARS.

Yep, my life & my fears.

Life is hard. Really, really hard.

We all need a foundation —and not a foundation that was built when we were younger and we continue as a formality, but a foundation that was born out of struggle and pain.

My day begins with Prayer, a Devotional and reading the Bible. Not because I seek to appear a certain way, but because I struggle and I need a weapon that will get me through this aggressive thing called life.

I am you. You are me. We all go through this thing called life together.

I am on this platform to let you know that if you are broken, shattered, crushed and all, you are not alone. Please don’t give up. I want you to know life will beat you down, but you still have purpose.

Try and start your day with a form of mediation. Designate that time to get your mind, heart and spirit right before you open up your life to the world. It’s GRIMY and waiting for you.

A year ago today, I expanded my business by adding embroidery and started marketing/selling my products.

This journey has been such a blessing for me. The lessons that I am continuing to learn about life, taking risks, believing, and not being afraid to be me--have surpassed any type of monetary value I could ever receive.

I truly believe the decision to start a business was not for reasons I expected, but to open my heart to allow God to sit with me as he works to get me ready to fulfill his purpose.

You see the business; I see the Testimony.

No matter the path you have to take to get there, believe in yourself. What God has for you--will always be for you.

You are in this thing called life for a reason. Go live it.

We are still only beginning. Love you guys. ❤️
