Week Twenty Four

Hey everyone! 👋🏽
I’m Deanna, co-owner of Week 24, where my husband and I create beautifully crafted gifts and goods through laser engraving. We’ve poured our hearts into this small business and are so excited to share our journey with you!
A little bit about me:
1. I’m a proud mom to twins who were born as micro preemies. They’ve taught me more about strength and resilience than I ever imagined.
2. I’ve always had a love for creativity – fashion design, merchandising, you name it. I’ve always appreciated the balance between creativity and the analytical side of business.
3. Traveling to Jamaica, where my family is from, always fills me with joy and a sense of home.
4. Chocolate is my kryptonite! 🍫 I have a serious sweet tooth and can’t resist it.
5. I’m an overthinker – which sometimes leads to procrastination (working on it, promise!)
6. I used to be super detail-oriented until I realized sometimes “done” is better than “perfect.” in the sense of spending time on details that don’t matter.
7. My husband and I have been together for 16 years, and he’s my business partner and biggest support.
8. My love for crafting runs deep – even though I feel like I’m in an old woman’s body sometimes, I love granny crafts like crocheting! 🧶
9. Being a mom has been my greatest adventure, and I’m constantly learning and growing because of it.
10. I am beyond grateful to be able to create and build something with my family that I am so passionate about.
