Caribbean Commuting

The first rapid transit system in the Caribbean, the Tren Urbano opened in 2004 and runs for 10.7 miles serving 16 stops in the Puerto Rican cities of San Juan, Guaynabo, and Bayamón. Enjoy a handful of photos of the line from a visit in May 2026! Individual captions with each photo.

Soccer Stadium Service at Secaucus

NJ Transit operated a very colorful ALP-45DP fleet for Meadowlands Rail Line service on Saturday June 13, 2026 for the first FIFA World Cup match at NYNJ Stadium. Eight trains were operating between Hoboken, Secaucus, and Meadowlands Station, seven of which were decked out in advertising wraps or other special schemes. Individual captions with each photo.

France vs. Senegal

As part of their promotion for the World Cup, FIFA has sponsored multiple full-train wraps on New York City Subway trains! Seen here is one of these trains on the 1 on the IRT Broadway-7th Avenue Line. Half of the train is decorated with French flags and colors and the other half is Senegalese flags and colors, promoting the France vs. Senegal match that is taking place today at NYNJ Stadium.
