My name means Resurrection.

Would’ve been nice to have been named Serenity or Grace. However, I was given the name STACIA which means resurrection.

Being the Queen of the Dramatic - it fits. I carry a lot of that “let’s break it apart to build it better” energy. It’s part of my SOUL.

I’ve found that my life seems to “happen to me” when I’m in a phase of life where my integrity isn’t quite as high as it should. For example: Return the shopping cart? Why? It’s raining. ☔️ (because, Stace, some poor underpaid kid will have to risk running around a parking lot because of as****es like you…)

It’s the tiny lapses of integrity that pile up. So then, after a while you’ve kind of built your brain 🧠 up to that point of not being able to consider how you influence others anymore (hullo…this is for my folks who struggle with road rage) with each every single lapse in judgment.

Collect yourself.

You’ve got to get to a certain point of “what the f**k am I doing acting like this?” before anything changes.

I’ve literally got a Jesus bumper sticker that reads “I saw that” and still wag my middle finger out the window while pointing out how to use the rotaries with it.

5 rotaries during my one way commute. It’s ridiculous.

The point I’m driving home is that you have a moment to moment opportunity to feel a fresh start. A lot of us like to start diets on Mondays. But your life isn’t a routine, it’s a story. You can literally go into the bathroom with the mentality: once I’m done screaming into this towel I’m going to throw them my best shot.

And heck yah. You will. You won’t be perfect, but practice makes perfect. And then tomorrow you’ll have a chance to drag that bad ass you found the day before out of bed. Every day- every extra tight grip on your integrity- a win.

So maybe today, you’ll see my cruising in my beat up car throwing hairy eyeballs instead of fingers. Progress not perfection!
