So... what is Kratom?

Kratom (Mitragyna Speciosa) is the leaves of a tree native to Indonesia and a member of the coffee family. Kratom has been used by generations of people as a natural pain reliever, used to help with anxiety and mood lifter and is also used successfully to help with op**te withdrawal.

When taking kratom, we are specifically talking about the leaves of the tree. These leaves are harvested, dried and sold as either cut leaf (similar to an herbal tea) or as a ground powder. Farmers often chew the leaf itself.

No matter what form you purchase it in, or how you consume it, kratom is often referred to as "tea" because of how it is traditionally served in its native countries.
