Last week engineering students joined students from other pathways at KCAL to attend the NCTX Field Day, a work-based learning forum at Alliance Airport. Students learned about the newest technologies being used in surveying, photogrammetry and geographic information systems. We would like to say thank you to Alliance, Bill Swope of Halff and all of the presenters for an informative day learning about LIDAR, drones, ground penetrating radar and the software they use to process all the images.
