Using 1,080 of the District's banked instructional minutes to build in six new Early Release Days will allow KISD teachers additional time to prep lessons, make instructional adjustments, and do anything else they need to do to be in a better position to serve their students in the midst of the additional challenges this school year. The District still has a Bad Weather Make-Up Day on the calendar for April 2, and could also restore the April Early Release Days to full days, should instructional days be lost due to inclement weather.

Six Spring 2021 Instructional Days Made Early Release Days Keller ISD’s Board of Trustees at its November 16, 2020, Regular Meeting approved revisions to the 2020-21 Instructional Calendar that add six additional early release days to the Spring 2021 semester. 

Free Lunches, Breakfasts Available Beginning Nov. 4 Beginning on Wednesday, November 4, Keller ISD’s Child Nutrition Services Department will now offer free meals to all students through the remainder of the 2020-21 school year.
