The Prairie Shufflers invite you to our Water Follies Dance on Saturday, July 11!

Don’t miss our last dance before summer break—a great chance to enjoy one more evening on the dance floor before we pause for the season.

⭐ Plus Workshop: 2:00–4:15 PM
🎶 Mainstream Dancing: 7:00 PM
⭐ Plus Dancing: 9:00 PM

Come enjoy an afternoon and evening of great dancing, good music, and the welcoming spirit of square dancing.

After this dance, we’ll be taking a summer break and will be back dancing in September!

The Banner Has Been Captured! 🏴🎉

Tonight, 13 Prairie Shufflers traveled to dance with the Yakima Gate Swingers, and since we had more than a full square, we proudly continued one of square dancing’s classic traditions…

We captured their club banner! 😄

For those who may not know, in the past, it was a fun tradition that if a visiting club brought a full square (8 dancers) to another club’s dance, they could “steal” the host club’s banner. To win it back, the host club had to bring a full square to the visiting club’s dance and reclaim it. It was all done in good fun and encouraged dancers to travel, visit other clubs, and build friendships throughout the square dance community.

Over the years, this tradition has become less common, but we’d love to help bring it back!

So now the challenge has been issued…

Yakima Gate Swingers, we’ll be waiting for you! Bring a square to one of our dances and come reclaim your banner! 🤠🎶
