So the Kenosha News reported today that Metra had a consultant estimate it would cost $72 Million to install WiFi on the Metra over the next 5 years!! I really would like to know how they came up with this number. If anyone has an in with Metra I would love to present an idea that would cost about $1000 for the hardware per car to install a WiFi solution. I would definitely love to have the opportunity to do a real world trial in some of the Metra Train Cars to try it out.
