Abbigail and Aurora spent the spring semester studying Fashion in Paris and made the most of their experience, even signing up for a local 5k race where they ran down the famous Champs-Élysées boulevard with the Eiffel Tower in the background 🤯🇫🇷

Abbigail shared, "[This photo] highlights one of my favorite memories, as well as showing some of the things you’re able to do while in Paris that you might not think about. I thought it would be a unique experience to be able to run a race while in Paris. So I did some research online, found one that was coming up, and signed myself up! No running experience whatsoever and no real running shoes. I invited a friend who runs regularly to join me, so we were able to run the race together! I ended up getting sub 30 for my first 5k ever AND in Paris, how cool is that?!"

For Construction Management major Matt Keleman, the opportunity to spend a semester studying at the Kent State Florence Center was one of the deciding factors when choosing to attend Kent State. 🇮🇹

Matt’s biggest advice to study abroad students is to live in the moment. One of the ways he recommends staying in the moment is to find little things to do—try a new cafe, go to a museum, get dinner with friends. Matt encouraged students to take advantage of all the moments you have while studying abroad, both in and out of the classroom.
