⚜️ Feast of the Presentation of the Lord - Feb 2 ⚜️
4️⃣0️⃣ days after Christmas, the Catholic Church celebrates the FEAST OF THE PRESENTATION OF THE LORD, an event that the evangelist Luke recounts in Chapter 2 of his Gospel.
In the East, the celebration of this feast dates back to the 4th century. By the year 450, it was called The Feast of the Meeting of the Lord because Jesus entered the Temple and “meets” the priests, as well as Simeon and Anna, representatives of the people of God. Around the middle of the 5th century, we know the feast was also celebrated in Rome.
At a certain point, the Blessing of Candles was added to this feast to recall that Jesus is the “Light to the Gentiles”. Thus, this feast is also known as Candlemas.
JESUS, light of our lives, WE TRUST IN YOU 🙌

⚜️Memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary
The Holy Rosary originated in 1212 when Saint Dominic de Guzman saw the Virgin Mary who gave him the Rosary as a response to his prayers.
Today, believers who are devoted to the Rosary see it as an instrument given by the Virgin Mary as a means to contemplate Jesus✝️

Pray it with Faith, He hears you!
JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU 🙌
Rezalo con Fé, Él te escucha!
JESÚS, EN TI CONFÍO 🙌
On this Octave day of Easter, we celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday. Pope John Paul II instituted this feast in 2000 based on the private revelations received in the 1930s by a humble Polish nun, St. Faustina Kowalska. In her diary, Faustina recorded Jesus telling her, “I desire that the whole world know My infinite mercy.” Jesus also gave her the chaplet of Divine Mercy, promising, “Whoever will recite it will receive great mercy at the hour of death.”
Pray the chaplet today. Go to https://ow.ly/kMu850R8Nrx for a guide.
Lord, who reveals the Father’s love by Your death and Resurrection, we believe in You and confidently repeat to You today: Jesus, I trust in You, have mercy upon us and upon the whole world.
