Sometimes the best custom projects don't end up looking anything like where they started.

A customer originally wanted me to engrave directly onto a beautiful leather briefcase. After testing, I wasn't happy with the results. Rather than risk permanently marking an expensive bag with something I couldn't stand behind, I changed direction.

This morning I received this message, and it reminded me why I never settle for "good enough."

Sometimes the best custom orders come from your own granddaughter. 🥰 Norah needed a little help holding her Uno cards, so Nana fired up the laser and made these personalized card holders. Cut everything—from the wood to the fabric—and even made the buttons myself. I think game night just got a little easier! ❤️🃏
