It was such a joy to have sister-church-planter Rev. Jason Piland come and preach for Christ Pres this past Sunday.

As he preached from the familiar story of David and Goliath, he reminded us that this story tells us about the victor we find and look to in Christ, not ourselves. What a message to send us out into the week! I am thankful for a Gospel that tells me I am not my hope, but rather I have a Savior in Jesus Christ who has already won victory over death for me. It has been such a joy to have Bobby Curtis on staff as our Intern here at Christ Pres for the past year, and we are so excited for his next chapter! Bobby will be leaving us this summer to do the RUF Internship for 2 years at Winthrop University, and then hopes to pursue a seminary degree. To know Bobby is to love him and we will all miss him dearly, but are so proud of his ministry pursuits and so excited about how the Lord will continue to use him in the lives of college students at Winthrop!
