In light of the recent uptick in COVID cases, we thought it might be helpful for us to state our stance here:

Mountain View Surgery respects each patient and their family's opinions on wearing masks. We understand this is a very emotional topic for many on both sides of this issue.

The first thing we would like to communicate is how much we totally respect either point of view. If a patient desires to wear a mask we have no issue! For our practice, we do not wear masks.

In looking at the science, and also understanding communicable diseases, our stance is not to require masks. Please understand that this is not a decision made rashly or flippantly. This is based on research and an understanding of how infections spread.

If this is something you feel you need to discuss, please feel free to call our office. Note that any of our employees who have symptoms of viral or other infection will remain at home.
