How is it that love can be found,
By staring for hours, into the deep dark sky.
As the water brings, the spirits of life.
There’s a chance you could figure out, why.

Why is the pleasure of some, so dark,
While the simplest love, is in the eye,
Of the gentle soul, in the songs of love
As the tones of the mind make us cry.

I find my soul, can be lost in the sun,
As the power of being is so clear.
We toil and stretch to meet near term desires
And in the blink of an eye, goes a year.

Then we stand together, seeing life as one
And still there are some who will look away,
There are places we are and places we will go,
And the secret, is that we ALL get to stay.

But I ponder the truth, that is lost in the sun,
Where the pictures turn blurred to the senses,
Is there anything better, than a hand in a hand?
From the mountains to the deepest of trenches.

I try to explain, but to sing the refrains
And to the left and to the right are my friends.
We can cherish our time, from the rich and sublime
To the smells and the sounds and the trends.

I chose not to be lost, in the sun here today,
And I choose to love those I see, one and all!
For I know we are one, and my friend is the sun
Can you hear it, in silence, comes your call.

Oh no I do not preach, for you know in your heart,
That the things that you want, are obscure,
As a feeble disease, tries to bring you to your knees,
In your heart, and in your mind, YOU are the cure.
