It has been a rough couple years for all of us in the hospitality and tourism biz, but we look forward with anticipation to our 2022 season and we cannot wait to meet all our guests.

Another incredible photo from a recent guest,
We love seeing our cabins through the eyes of our guests, and this one is just stunning! Did you know we provide you with dry firewood to save you the run around town? Come sit by the fire, roast a ‘mallow, sip some wine and watch the incredible colours as the sun dips below the trees.

Our Key Largo location has been shut down since March 22nd, and we are missing our guest interaction! Monroe County made the wise decision to close the Keys to all visitors, and is still closed. It was sad to hear, but we agreed!

Our Oxley, Ontario location is due to kick off mid May and we will keep everyone updated as we draw nearer to the date.
If you have a reservation with us know that you will be refunded in full if Covid 19 causes a cancellation. All booking platforms are offering full refunds (incl their fees) to those travellers stuck at home. You are welcome to leave you reservation blocked off and wait to see how the world is coping closer to your date. Even if you have to cancel the day before, you will still be refunded in full 👍🏼

We are taking life day by day and spending extra time with our families and preparing a new space for our incredible guests to escape to!
This star gazer beauty will be at our Oxley location and will be ready for guests after this crisis has lifted! This isn’t her final resting place, but I had to snap a pic to share what’s coming down the pipe. We cannot wait to host you all on your upcoming adventures, but for now, stay home and stay safe!

Our Story
Journey Rentals is a physical representation of our family and their dreams. We have worked for years to visualize, create, build, set up and now run this adventurous experience company. Our young family of 5 plus our incredible couple in Key Largo are the heart of our business. When you email it is we who respond, when you check-in it is we who host you, and when you leave it is we who clean.
If we are not hosting our amazing guests you will usually still find us outside! All of us adore being under the sun, working with our hands and spending time near the water. Meet our team!
Ben - Ben and his father are where Journey started. It was their ability to visualize and build the amazing units you stay in that paved the way for your night floating under the stars. Ben is creative and a motivator. He thinks his way out of corners and doesn’t stop until he has an answer to a problem. You won’t see him much or speak with him as he is a behind the scenes kind of guy...but your Journey experience would not be out there if it wasn’t for him. If he isn’t researching or building you can find Ben spending time with his children, training in jiu jitsu, fishing or just simply being outside as much as he can with his family.
Beth - Beth is the main go to for the business. She runs the online profiles, the day to day communication, as well as hosts their amazing guests at the Oxley location. Beth is at home with her and Ben’s three children, and if she isn’t at the computer or hosting a guest she is outside with her kids. You can find them in their chicken run with their chicks, planting or harvesting from their garden or running around the farm pretending to be Star Wars characters. She loves fresh flowers, dirt under her nails and happy guests!
