It’s a shame when a 2016 fuel tank starts to leak on a dusky. You have to remove the console and cut the deck to take the tank out for replacement.

Back to the Crusader! Client stated that they had to prime engine to stay running they had suspected it behind a lift pump issue. However from further digging I found the carburetor filter was completely stuffed with sediment which led me to recommend a carb service, when I broke it open I found mounds of sediment both in the bowl and the jets leaving me suprised that it even ran. After cleaning and new jets it got put back and runs like a charm 👍🏼

Corrosion control before/after 🧼

Customer had a main seawater hose burst and spray all over this Detroit and ultimately ended in rust issues so they called us in to perform our corrosion preventative service we took the rust off this motor and went with a new anticorrosion paint and sprayed with corrosion inhibitor.

Client came to me and asked why is my bilge filling up with water , no problem came onto the jobsite and after looking around a bit I saw that the saltwater wash down strainer was leaking due to heavy corrosion so we came in with a new one hooked it up and ran to ensure this client wasn’t having any more issues with water intrusion! 🛥️👍
