Fish Finder Shirt Club
Monthly Fishing T-Shirts. America’s Fisheries. Real Guides. Every T-shirt Has a Tale.
Before George Washington crossed the Delaware, he worked the Potomac.
At Mount Vernon, Washington operated one of early America’s most important commercial fisheries, harvesting spring shad with seine nets along a shoreline he once described as “one entire fishery.”
The same country that was founded by rivers, tides, crossings, and working water is still being explored today. One fishery at a time.
This Independence Day, we’re celebrating 250 years of American freedom, American water, and the stories still swimming through it.

The modern White River trout fishery didn’t exist before 1952.
When Bull Shoals Dam came online, cold water started pouring from the lake’s depths and never stopped, creating a tailwater that grows monster brown trout by accident.
Each winter, shad in the lake get cold-shocked, sink to the turbine intakes, and emerge into the river stunned and drifting.
The brown trout have been waiting all year.
But this isn’t just a winter story.
This is a year-round fishery with clear, cold water and legitimate shots at trophy brown trout. The current White River record stands at 38 pounds, 7 ounces, caught at Rainbow Drive Resort
