In 1939, the Ramos Lopez Family purchased the the Southernmost House and for the next decade, the family operated the home as a vibrant Cuban nightclub and supper club venue known as "Casa Cayo Hueso Supper Club" or "Café Cayo Hueso". Evenings were once filled with full-course dinners, live orchestras, and elegant dancing now echo through the same oceanfront rooms and sweeping verandas 🎻🎶
The House was an exclusive escape for high‑society icons including Ernest Hemingway, Louis Armstrong, and Tennessee Williams. So every hallway, parlor, and window holds stories of glamorous nights, artistic conversation, and musical magic.
