What it’s like on the Seabreeze Dolphin Watch & Snorkel Tour .......

This is one of those days in Key West where everything just works.

You start out on a 45 foot catamaran with plenty of space to spread out. There’s shaded seating, room to move around, and it never feels crowded since they limit the number of guests. As you head into the backcountry, the crew shares information about the area, but it feels casual and easy, not like a lecture.

When it’s time to snorkel, they take you to the best spot that day. It could be near Archer Key or out toward the Florida Reef. The water is usually calm and clear, making it a great experience even if you’ve never snorkeled before. They provide all the gear and walk you through exactly what to do. Once you’re in, you’ll see a mix of marine life like tropical fish, coral, sponges, and sometimes rays, starfish, or even a sea turtle if you’re lucky. Afterward, you hop back on the boat, rinse off with fresh water, grab a drink, and relax.

The second part of the trip is all about finding dolphins.

The crew heads into the backcountry areas where local pods are known to be. When you find them, you’re watching dolphins in their natural environment, not in a controlled setting. They might swim alongside the boat, jump out of the water, or just cruise nearby. Every trip is different, which is part of what makes it feel special. You may also spot other wildlife like sea turtles, rays, or birds along the way.

Everything is set up to make the day easy:

Snorkel gear and instruction
Snacks, soda, and bottled water
Complimentary beer after snorkeling
Freshwater rinse
Bathroom onboard
