The TJI’s are in place, the floor deck has been framed, and the plywood is being closed to prepare for the new structure above.
Every step has to be done in the right order — especially when safety, framing, and the future expanded kitchen are all connected.
Next step: securing the final section and framing the new wall.

Before anything starts looking finished, the structure has to be right.
On this Manalapan addition project, Phase One focused on the real foundation of the new space: steel block walls, I-beams, and supporting columns.
This is the part most people don’t see, but without it, nothing else can move forward safely.
The bones of the addition are now in place.
