REMINDER:
The 2025 South Dakota Black Hills Spring Turkey season will feature a major change for nonresidents. Beginning in 2025, nonresident Black Hills spring turkey licenses will be issued by a lottery drawing, which means nonresident hunters must apply for their licenses prior to their hunt. Unlimited licenses will no longer be available for purchase for nonresidents.

There are 2,225 nonresident licenses that will be available through this drawing in 2025. The application period will run from January 15 to February 12, 2025. Applicants should be aware all South Dakota application periods close at 8 a.m. central time the day of closing.

Non residents we need your help! South Dakota is considering limiting the non-resident Turkey Hunting Licenses. As a camp that has been providing successful hunts for hunters from all over the United States for over 50 years. This will impact us greatly. We need to make sure our voices are heard. If you could be so kind to take a moment to fill out this public comment below to help stop this decision it would be greatly appreciated.
