Aloha!
My name is Jeanette, owner and Lead Planner for Parsons Events based on the beautiful island of Maui, HI. We plan, design and coordinate weddings on Maui, neighboring islands and take some Weddings in Orange County, Ca. too.

Working in this industry for almost 10 years has had its ups and downs but also has been so rewarding and way more ups. I wouldn’t change a thing. I have met and connected with some of the best people who share the same passion as I do and have the same dedication to their clients. My path here on Maui has lead me to so many new opportunities, growth and the community here is unmatched.

I have really realized this past year we should never take life for granted. It could change drastically in the blink of an eye and I witnessed that recently unfortunately and lost someone very close to me. I don’t take my life or this job lightly. I’m an all or nothing/go big or go home kind of person. Not a bad trait to have but I’ve learned through the years how important it is to take care of myself, my health and have balance in my personal life and really take advantage of my rest days.

Outside of wedding planning I am mom to two handsome boys and been married for almost 17 years (together for 27) In my free time you can usually catch me at the beach, watching the sunset, working out, driving my teen around, finding a new recipe, online shopping, freelancing for other planners or mindlessly scrolling looking at reels of cute dogs or baby goats. I love to laugh. I enjoy real connections and conversations with some weirdness & goofiness. Life is too hard to be serious all the time.

I am forever thankful to our past couples, upcoming couples and everyone who has supported & referred Parsons Events and also to those who continue to follow along our journey. You truly are all a part of making a dream come true!
