On Monday, 05/26/2025, residents of Bell County, Texas, experienced multiple rounds of severe storms with heavy rainfall, damaging winds up to 80-85mph, and some hail. The storms resulted in power outages, structural damages, and debris in roadways. Crews from Bell County Road & Bridge and Texas Department of Transportation worked thru the night to clear roadways. ONCOR crews are continuing to work to restore power quickly and safely, this may take some time due to the number of down poles and lines.

If you sustained damage during the storms please report it to Texas Division of Emergency Management on the Individual State of Texas Assessment Tool (iSTAT). It can be accessed thru the QR code or web address below, select the "MAY 18TH - ONGOING SEVERE WEATHER". Reporting individual damages to homes and businesses helps emergency officials assess the extent of the impact. Be sure to include the location of the damage and at least one clear photo.
