A major throwback from 20 years ago. So many things to unpack here in this self portrait.

My old, super angular line/shape drawing style.
Those hands! (shivers in embarrassment)
My love for prismacolor markers (still have them btw)
My use of generic shape stencils(pretty sure they came with this sketchbook) that I thought SO cool.
The fact that I was that skinny.
My classic tee shirt-long sleeve combo which I wore nearly year-round (I could pull it off, back when I was a bean pole, now I'd be a walking sweatbox)
Also, I miss those boots, they were righteous!

Finally, this is clearly unfinished, but not sure why I left the speech bubble empty...that would drive me crazy nowadays. What should it say?

Sometimes you never know what to draw, and sometimes it just happens.
